Staff at the London aquarium, Sea Life London Aquarium, was stumped when ‘Gary the gourami’ refused to eat. But it turns out that Gary’s previous owners fed him nothing but chocolate. Why? No-one knows but we figure a chocolate-only diet ain't too bad.

But, the staff had other ideas. They gradually weaned Gary off a diabetic’s-nightmare diet by feeding him Kit Kats in pieces of grapes. 

Gouramis usually eat a diet of fruit but Gary doesn't appear to have suffered any ill effects from his chocolate addiction," said aquarium staff member Rebecca Carter.

"I have never heard of a fish being fed chocolate, let alone being brought up entirely on the stuff," she added. "However, we would not recommend feeding fish confectionery of any kind."

If only every addiction could be this sweet!
